The situation in Minnesota is getting dysfunctional.
After missing practice Wednesday, Vikings wideout Stefon Diggs did not deny he wants a trade when asked Thursday in a press conference with reporters.
“There’s truth to all rumors,” Diggs said. “I won’t be speaking on that.”
It’s been a frustrating season for the Vikings, who are off to a 2-2 start. Wideout Adam Thielen expressed dissatisfaction over the passing game’s inability to connect on deep passes — which some took as a shot toward quarterback Kirk Cousins. And on Tuesday, Cousins apologized on a podcast to Thielen for not getting him the ball.
Diggs, who is most known for hauling in the Minneapolis Miracle in the 2017 playoffs, has 13 catches for 209 yards this season.
Thielen has 13 catches for 179 yards.
