WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Authorities in New Jersey say a man being sought in the slayings of an elderly man and woman is now in custody.
Washington Township police say the bodies of 73-year-old Frank Warner and his 73-year-old wife, Joyanne, were found Sunday in the couple’s Warren County home. Police haven’t said how they died but said a homicide investigation was opened.
Police said they wanted to question 50-year-old Todd Warner, who was considered armed and dangerous, and said late Monday afternoon he was in custody. Authorities haven’t said whether he is related to the slain couple.
Officials say he faces active warrants for credit card theft and motor vehicle theft.
