The Washington Nationals announced their 25-man roster for the National League Wild Card Game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Nationals went with 16 hitters and just nine pitchers, only five of whom were relief pitchers during the regular season: Daniel Hudson, Tanner Rainey, Fernando Rodney, Sean Doolittle and Hunter Strickland.
Max Scherzer will start for Washington, and other starters like Stephen Strasburg or Patrick Corbin could be available to come out of the bullpen to get a few outs.
