OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium has announced the names of its newest additions, two snow leopard cubs.
The zoo says the male cub is named “Valens,” and the female cub is named “Kennedi.” The names were chosen by donors at the zoo’s Zoofari fundraiser event.
The cubs have been introduced to their new habitat in the Asian Highlands enclosure at the zoo.
The pair were born May 22 at the zoo to mother, 5-year-old Rosemary, and 10-year-old Pasha.
