SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a motorcycle rider in Rhode Island.
Police say the motorcycle operator crashed on U.S. Route 1 in South Kingstown at about 7 p.m. Sunday.
The crash occurred in the area of the Post Road-Camp Fuller Road off-ramp.

No other vehicles were involved.
The operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name was not immediately made public.
