Man accused of trying to set fire to woman in North Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Police say a woman in North Fargo suffered minor injuries after a man doused her with lighter fluid and tried to set her on fire.

Officers were called to a home where the assault took place about 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Police didn’t immediately find the suspect, but staked out the area and later arrested a 39-year-old man.

KFGO reports he was taken to the Cass County Jail where he’s being held on possible charges of domestic violence, aggravated assault and terrorizing.
