THERMOPOLIS, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Highway Patrol says two teens have died in a single car rollover south of Thermopolis.

The crash occurred about 1:10 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 20 when a southbound car failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway and down a steep embankment.

The driver was identified as 17-year-old Kable Schroeder, of Thermopolis. Schroeder was wearing his seatbelt and was taken to Hot Springs Memorial Hospital where he died.



A passenger identified as 17-year-old Rylee Douglas, of Thermopolis, was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the crash scene.

The patrol says speed is being investigated as a contributing factor.
