RICHMOND, Vt. (AP) - Richmond police say a 20-year-old man has died following a crash in the Vermont town.
Police received a report at about 6:20 p.m. Monday about a single vehicle crash on Huntington Road.
When police arrived, they found the vehicle with substantial damage and the operator was unresponsive.
The driver of the vehicle, Wayne Elias, of Williston, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The investigation into the cause is ongoing, but speed is believed to have been a factor.
