Last December, Mike Mayock left the NFL Network to become the general manager of the Oakland Raiders. Now months later, another TV draft analyst could be interested in joining an NFL front office.

ESPN’s Todd McShay told ESPN’s Rich Cimini he’s under consideration for a role under new Jets general manager Joe Douglas. New York hired Douglas away from the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.

Douglas and McShay are former teammates at the University of Richmond.

“Joe is considering his multiple options and I’m one of the options,” said McShay, who does not have experience working for an NFL team.

McShay began at ESPN in 2006. He serves as one of ESPN’s top draft analysts, alongside Mel Kiper.
