Nationals’ four straight home runs make history

The Washington Nationals made history Sunday — becoming the first team to hit four straight home runs more than once in franchise history. 

Howie Kendrick, Trea Turner, Adam Eaton and Anthony Rendon hit consecutive home runs to lift the Nationals 5-2 over the San Diego Padres. It was the second time the Nationals had hit four straight homers, last doing so in July 2017.

The Nationals now have won 11 of their last 15 games. They are seven games back of the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East.
