Madison Bumgarner was roasted Sunday for getting upset at Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy admiring his home run that went off the San Francisco Giants pitcher and deep into the ocean.
Fans on social media called Bumgarner’s act tired, as he has a history of reacting poorly in such situations.
But the biggest burn came from Muncy himself.
The Dodgers infielder revealed afterward what was said as the two exchanged words while Muncy circled the bases — and he didn’t spare Bumgarner for a second.
Muncy: “Bumgarner said ‘don’t watch the ball, run’, and I just told him if he doesn’t want me to watch the ball, go get it out of the ocean.”

the laugh at the end is all of us laughing at you, Madison Bumgarner (who once, by the way, dated a woman named Madison Bumgarner) pic.twitter.com/8Pf4NaGP8C

Adam Eaton and Todd Fraizer now have to step aside. There’s a new beef in baseball. And it’s wonderful.
