The Washington Wizards will have new voices calling the action next season on NBC Sports Washington.

The network is expected to hire Fox Sports announcer Justin Kutcher to replace long-time play-by-play announcer Steve Buckhantz, according to multiple reports.

In addition to Kutcher, NBC Sports Washington will also have former Wizards forwards Drew Gooden and Caron Butler serve as the team’s main analysts on an alternate basis — replacing Kara Lawson, who took a coaching job with the Boston Celtics this summer.

The Washington Post and The Athletic both reported the news.

Buckhantz departs the job after calling Wizards games for the last 22 years. His contract was not renewed.

Kutcher, 39, has 17 years of play-by-play experience — calling games for Fox, CBS Sports, ESPN, the Big Ten Network and CSTV, per the Post. He grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut and has been with Fox Sports since 2012.

Gooden reportedly will call the majority of games as an analyst, with Butler filling in occasionally. Before the Celtics hired Lawson, she lasted two seasons on the job, replacing longtime analyst Phil Chenier.
