Donald Trump Jr. defended his father’s border wall by comparing it to zoo fences on Instagram Tuesday night.
“You know why you can enjoy a day at the zoo?” He wrote on his Instagram story. “Because walls work.”
The post came soon after President Trump made a direct appeal to the American public about the need for a border wall Tuesday and declared the immigration issue at the border constitutes a crisis.
The president’s son has faced controversy from other analogies he’s made to defend his father’s policies. In September 2016, he likened Syrian refugees to a bowl of potentially lethal skittles.
