President Trump slammed Fox News Sunday night, saying the network was worse than “the folks at fake news CNN and NBC.”

While it’s unclear what specific reporting irked the president, Mr. Trump took particular aim at Gillian Turner, a Washington correspondent and John Roberts, the chief White House correspondent.

Mr. Trump was referring to a Marist Poll released last week showing the president had a 50 percent approval rating amongst Latinos, despite having a thumbs up from 39 percent overall.

Although squaring off with the media isn’t unusual for the president, Fox News is typically exempt from direct criticism.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the president also hit back at Ann Coulter.

After he agreed to end the shutdown for three weeks without any border wall fundings, Ms. Coulter called him a “wimp” on Twitter.

“I hear she’s become very hostile,” Mr. Trump told the Journal. “Maybe I didn’t return her phone call or something.”
