WALLINGFORD, Vt. (AP) - Police in Vermont say a logging truck collided with a moving train, injuring the truck driver.

Wallingford police say 60- year-old Gary Martin was driving down Vermont Route 140 east on what police said were icy roads Saturday morning. Police say the freight train collided with the truck with enough force to flip over the fully-loaded vehicle.

Police say Martin did not sustain life-threatening injuries, though he had to be extricated from the truck and airlifted to an area hospital.

Police say the Vermont State Police Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
