LEESBURG, Va. (AP) - Officials say a Virginia man accused of firing a gun at two sheriff’s deputies has been arrested.
News outlets report that 29-year-old Hyeong J. Suh of Reston was charged with offenses that include attempted capital murder. The statutory maximum sentence for attempted capital murder in Virginia is life in prison.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says Suh forced his way in a trailer that had firearms inside Thursday. He’s accused of firing a weapon several times and opening fire at two responding deputies.

Authorities exchanged gunfire and wounded Suh. He then barricaded himself in the trailer but later surrendered. Suh had a non-life-threatening injury.
The two sheriff’s deputies have been placed on paid, administrative leave. It’s unclear if Suh has a lawyer who could comment.
