Cardi B and Toni Lahren got into a Twitter spat over the weekend because of the partial government shutdown.
The exchange began when Ms. Lahren, a host on Fox Nation, made fun of Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Amanzar, after a video she made criticizing Republicans for the government shutdown went viral.
“Leave me alone I will dog walk you,” the rapper wrote on Twitter.
According to Urban Dictionary, “dog walk” is a term for beating someone.
“I’m sure you would. Still doesn’t make your political rambling any less moronic,” Ms. Lahren tweeted in response.
The feud continued as the rapper accused the conservative pundit of blindly following President Trump.
“You’re so blinded with racism that you don’t even realize the decisions the president you root for is destroying the country you claim to love so much,” Cardi B wrote. “You are a perfect example on no matter how educated or smart you think you are you still a SHEEP!”
