LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada Highway Patrol officials say a Las Vegas woman has been killed after her car struck a disabled vehicle on Interstate 215.
They say the accident occurred around 11 p.m. Saturday.
The car that was disabled near an off-ramp of the freeway and unoccupied at the time.
Highway Patrol officials say a driver veered off the road and struck the rear of the disabled vehicle for an unknown reason.
The 46-year-old woman was transported to a Las Vegas hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
Authorities say it’s unclear if impairment was factor in the fatal accident and the woman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
