SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A city street in South Burlington has been closed after a chunk of concrete fell from an Interstate 189 overpass and hit a passing car.

Police in the Vermont city reported the problem on Farrell Street just after 8 a.m. Friday.

No injuries were reported, but police say the driver of the car that was hit got a scare.

Police say officials from the Vermont Agency of Transportation are assessing the situation.

There’s no word on how long the street will remain closed.
