Kevin Durant erupted at reporters Wednesday over speculation the Golden State Warriors star will leave for the New York Knicks this summer in free agency.

Durant can opt out of his contract and become a free agent in July, and the Knicks’ recent trade of Kristaps Porzingis fueled rumors that New York would pursue him this summer. Durant’s comments were his first since the Knicks made the trade.

Specifically, Durant targeted The Athletic’s Ethan Strauss, who wrote a column Tuesday titled Silent star: On the presumed Warriors’ exit of Kevin Durant.”
