SULLIVAN, Ind. (AP) - Police say a woman in custody at an Indiana jail has died after a medical emergency.

State police say the 46-year-old woman died Saturday night, an hour after being taken to Sullivan County Community Hospital. She was suspected of driving while intoxicated early Saturday and was arrested by Sullivan city police.

State police say there was no indication that the woman had harmed herself at the Sullivan County jail. An autopsy is planned for Monday. The woman’s name wasn’t released.
