FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - Detectives in southwest Florida say a telltale wig helped them catch an armed robber.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies said after a convenience store in Fort Myers, Florida was robbed Saturday, a cashier gave them a description of a pistol-wielding robber who was wearing a wig and a gray hoodie.
Witnesses led deputies to an apartment complex, where they say they found a suspect who matched the description given by the cashier.
