BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - The University of Vermont’s provost and senior vice president is stepping down.

WCAX-TV reports David Rosowsky says in a letter announcing his departure that the move will allow new university President Suresh Garimella to “build his own leadership team.”

Rosowsky has worked as provost for six years. He says it has been a “privilege and an honor” to serve the university.
