Motorcyclist killed in crash near South Carolina’s coast

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a motorcyclist has been killed in a crash near the South Carolina coast.

The Sun News reports that the crash happened Sunday night at a Horry County intersection.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins says that a 2005 Chrysler collided with a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The newspaper reports that the Horry County Coroner’s Office didn’t immediately release the name of the motorcyclist who was killed.

The crash is being investigated by the Highway Patrol and the agency’s Multi-disciplinary Accident Investigation team.
