LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Nevada Department of Corrections says an inmate has died of an apparent suicide.
Correctional officers say they found 29-year-old Absalon Traylor dead in his cell Tuesday. He was being held alone at the Southern Desert Correctional Center, about 30 miles north of Las Vegas.
Traylor had been at the prison since June 2017 after being sentenced for possessing a firearm while an ex-felon.
