NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A two-vehicle accident in New Jersey’s largest city sent one car crashing into a home, but no injuries were reported.

Authorities say one of the drivers, believed to be in a stolen vehicle, fled the scene on foot after the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in Newark. But it wasn’t immediately clear if that was the vehicle that went onto a sidewalk and then struck the house.

The accident also caused a transformer to come crashing down into the street.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. But that person’s name has not been released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
