Baltimore native Gervonta Davis is a big Michael Jackson fan.
The boxer got a “Thriller” tattoo on his leg last year. He raised the stakes Saturday night when he fought Hugo Ruiz for the WBA super featherweight championship.
Davis entered the ring after a minute-long intro set to “Thriller,” complete with choreography more intricate than is normal for a boxing match. Check it out here:
Davis went on to beat Ruiz by first-round knockout to retain the belt.
