LOS ANGELES (AP) - A Los Angeles prostitute who referred to herself as “the most hated hoe in LA” has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for recruiting minors to exchange money for sex.
Melanie Denae Williams was sentenced in federal court Thursday. The 23-year-old, who used the name “Pretty Hoe” on social media, pleaded guilty to trafficking minors for sex in November.
In her plea agreement with prosecutors, Williams acknowledged abusing a woman she recruited for prostitution. She admitted to making the woman strip naked, throwing bleach on her, beating her with a broomstick, forcing her to tattoo Williams’ name on her face and threatening to kill her if she left.
Williams also admitted to using the internet to recruit two underage girls for prostitution and keeping the money for herself.
