IMMOKALEE, Fla. (AP) - A 7-year-old Florida boy was seriously injured when a vehicle struck him as he was walking to a bus stop on Monday morning, authorities said.
The boy and his mother were walking along an Immokalee street when the boy dashed in front of an SUV, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
The child was airlifted to a Fort Myers hospital with serious injuries, the Naples Daily News reported.
