This week, USWNT star Carli Lloyd revealed she was “seriously considering” trying to become a kicker in the NFL after video of her kicking a 55-yard field goal went viral. Lloyd says she even received offers from NFL teams to kick in the preseason, only to turn them down because the U.S. women’s national team plays Thursday night.
Still if Lloyd decides to pursue becoming an NFL kicker in 2020 — a real possibility, according to ESPN — then a Hall of Famer is ready to help her.
Morten Andersen, the second kicker ever to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, posted a video on Twitter, offering assistance to Lloyd:
