MANDAN, N.D. (AP) - A pastor who spoke to hundreds of people gathered at a memorial service for four people killed at a Mandan business last week called it an “unfair and completely wicked act” but it should not bring out the worst in people.
Business co-owner Robert Fakler and three employees, William and Lois Cobb and Adam Fuehrer, were found shot and stabbed at RJR Maintenance and Management last Monday.
A joint memorial service was held Tuesday at the Bismarck Community Church. The Rev. Jared Lee posted audio of his message on the church’s YouTube channel, telling the Bismarck Tribune that while the families are suffering, the community also is affected.
Morton County prosecutors have charged 44-year-old Chad Isaak, a Washburn chiropractor, will killing the four. He lived on property managed by RJR. No motive for the slayings has been revealed.
