Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan was the Washington Capitals’ guest at Game 5 Saturday night, and he was tasked with leading the “Let’s Go Caps” chant before puck drop.

Kerrigan went above and beyond the call of duty.

After starting the chant, Kerrigan raised his No. 92 Capitals jersey over his head chugged the beer bottle he was holding, an homage to T.J. Oshie’s similar celebration at last year’s Stanley Cup parade.

It holds an extra significance, as Oshie suffered an upper-body injury in Game 4 and is out of the lineup for an indefinite period of time.
