INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police say a detective has shot and wounded a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of a liquor store security guard.
Police says officers tracked 29-year-old Jarius Moore 29 to a video store on the city’s west side Friday afternoon and attempted to apprehend him, blocking Moore’s vehicle car from leaving the parking lot.
They say Moore left his vehicle and began to flee, then turned around to grab a handgun from the vehicle. That’s when the detective fired his weapon, striking Moore.
