TIMMONSVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say three people have been arrested in the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old girl.
News outlets report Michael Christian Barclay, Demonta Kabora Hickson and Jimmy Lee Hampton Jr. are charged with murder in the August death of Fantasia Shyann Jackson. The three appeared in court on Tuesday.
Timmonsville police Chief Billy Brown tells WBTW-TV a man named Cedric Young was at a house party when he got into a fight and shot at the house. The State reports the Florence County Sheriff’s Office says Barclay later saw Young and shot at him in retaliation, striking Jackson as she ran for cover.
