RENO, Nev. (AP) - A 25-year-old Reno man faces up to life in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a female acquaintance following a Super Bowl party.
A Washoe County District Court jury convicted Luke Patrick Medeiros of one count of sexual assault.
Police arrested him in February 2017 following an investigation of the incident at a north Reno home.
Medeiros argued the victim consented to sexual touching. But the victim and witnesses testified at the three-day trial he violated her against her will.
Judge Jerry Polaha is scheduled to sentence him on Dec. 4.
