LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a city bus was evacuated after a report of a gun seen on a bus that turned out to be a BB gun.

Las Vegas police Lt. David Gordon says the Regional Transportation Commission reported early Tuesday morning that a man on a bus had a gun in plain view.

KSNV-TV reports officers asked about seven people, including the driver, to get off the bus before asking the subject of the report to do the same.

Authorities determined that the man had a BB gun. There were no reports of the man making any threats.

Gordon says the man was arrested on an unrelated charge.

No further details about the charge have been disclosed.
