GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Police say a man fell out of a pickup truck with a faulty door, was struck by another vehicle behind the pickup and died at the scene.

Gulfport police tell the Sun Herald that James Bryan Eads of West Monroe, Louisiana was turning when the passenger door of the 1951 GMC pickup truck popped open Thursday night.

Police say that the 55-year-old passenger fell out of the pickup and the second vehicle struck him. The driver of the second vehicle stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
