CLARKSDALE, Miss. (AP) - A woman is dead and a man hospitalized after a shooting in the Mississippi Delta.
Clarksdale police tell WHBQ-TV that 38-year-old Lakisha McGee was visiting her cousin Monday when a masked man kicked in a door, broke into the house and began shooting.
Lakisha McGee died from her injuries before she could be taken to a hospital. Her cousin, 29-year-old Jeremy McGee, ran out the back door and down an alley. Neighbor Gary Kelly found Jeremy McGee shot in a driveway. McGee, hit five times, remains hospitalized Wednesday in serious condition at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee.

Authorities say least four children were also inside the home. None of them were hurt.
Police have yet to name or describe any suspects.
