PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a man suspected of killing his wife in Phoenix last month has been arrested in California.
Phoenix police announced Wednesday that 69-year-old Derek Minor was taken into custody in Santa Monica and is awaiting extradition.
It’s unclear if he has a lawyer yet.

Police say Minor fled Arizona after he was named the prime suspect in the death of 54-year-old Cynthia Minor.
Her body was found in an apartment on Sept. 6 after she had been reported missing in Scottsdale earlier that day.
Police say the Minors were in the process of separating and it’s believed she had gone back to the apartment to get her belongings.
They have not released any information on the cause of death, but say detectives are investigating the case as a homicide.
