TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a 69-year-old bicyclist in Tucson has died after being struck by a car.

Tucson police have identified the victim as John Shaul.

They say he was found unresponsive at the scene about 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Shaul was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say Shaul reportedly made a left-hand turn in front of a pickup truck before he was struck.

They say the driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Investigators have ruled out impairment as a factor in the fatal collision.

The name and age of the driver involved haven’t been released.
