EAST RUTHERFORD — Redskins running back Chris Thompson and wide receiver Paul Richardson are active for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

Thompson (ribs, knee) returns after missing the last two games, while Richardson (shoulder, knee) was out last week against the Carolina Panthers.

The Redskins, however, will be without cornerback Quinton Dunbar, who is still nursing a shin injury.

Besides Dunbar, the Redskins listed wide receivers Jamison Crowder (ankle) and Brian Quick, safety Kenny Ladler, center Casey Dunn, tackle Geron Christian and running back Samaje Perine as inactive.
