SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say more than two dozen people have been arrested in connection with the takedown of a major drug ring in eastern New York.
New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood announces Tuesday that 30 people have been charged in 205-count indictment alleging that they distributed cocaine as well as heroin and illegal prescription medication from the Albany area north to Saratoga and Warren counties.
Underwood says the yearlong investigation dubbed “Operation Off Broadway” involved state and local law enforcement agents led by the Attorney General’s Organized Crime Task Force.
