DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - A standoff that paralyzed a suburban Atlanta hospital has ended peacefully.
Local news outlets report a man surrendered to police Saturday evening after a man barricaded himself inside a truck outside Emory Decatur Hospital.
WSB-TV reports a contractor said he was painting outside the emergency room in Decatur when a man stormed outside and made claims about people being after him.

The man then got into the contractor’s truck.
Heavily armed police officers swarmed the hospital and it was locked down while police negotiated with the man. It wasn’t immediately clear if the man would face criminal charges.
