ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - The associate of a Vermont man found shot to death by the side of a rural road last month is facing charges he carried ammunition across state lines.
Law enforcement officials say 51-year-old Shawn Whitecomb was an associate of Michael Pimental, who was found shot to death in Concord Oct. 14.
Police say Whitcomb and his 27-year-old daughter Krystal Whitcomb were involved in a heroin ring with Pimental. Both have pleaded not guilty to heroin charges.
