SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - A 31-year-old central New York man has been sentenced to 10 to 30 years in prison for killing three young people by crashing his car into their vehicle while he was drunk and high on drugs.

Anthony Saccone, of Camillus, was sentenced Monday in a Syracuse court where he pleaded guilty last summer to aggravated vehicular homicide charges.

Saccone had been drinking and doing cocaine on the night of Feb. 23 when he sped through a stop light outside Syracuse at more than 80 mph and slammed into another vehicle.

He then ran to his mother’s house nearby without reporting the crash, which killed 18-year-old Michael Walker, 19-year-old Baylie Rose and 20-year-old Samra Osmanovic.

Walker and Osmanovic were students at nearby Onondaga Community College, while Rose was a former student there.
