Authorities: Death of woman found in apartment suspicious

MACON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities are calling the death of a woman found inside of a Georgia apartment suspicious.

News outlets report that 62-year-old Mary Robinson’s body was found Tuesday morning inside an east Macon apartment.

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says the management had not heard from Robinson in a few days and attempted to make contact with her.

Robinson’s body was taken to a Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. An investigation is ongoing.
