BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A woman’s body was found in the mountains of northern Colorado a day after a couple reported hearing a woman yelling.

Boulder County rescuers found the body just before noon Wednesday near the Fourth of July Trail west of Boulder.

The coroner’s office will try to determine if the woman is the same one who was yelling along with her cause of death.

A couple said they heard yelling Tuesday while hiking the Arapahoe Pass Trail. They were unsure if she needed help but called Nederland police.

The area received about 10 inches (25 centimeters) of snow during the search.

Officials said a woman’s car was found parked at the Fourth of July Trailhead. Carrie Haverfield with the sheriff’s office tells KMGH-TV the woman, whose name has not been released, is typically a day-hiker.
