Authorities say Kelly crashed the drone on New Year’s Eve in 2016 as pyrotechnicians were preparing for the annual fireworks display.

Kelly also must forfeit his drone and agree to not operate drones as part of his sentence.

Authorities say no one was hurt in the drone crash and the Space Needle was not damaged.
