ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis man has been sentenced to seven years in prison after a plot to scare people with gunfire ended with the fatal shooting of an accomplice.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 25-year-old Trent Anderson was sentenced earlier this month for involuntary manslaughter, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon in the August 2016 shooting death of 32-year-old Diamond White.
Police say Anderson, White and 26-year-old Deon Rice had been in an ongoing dispute with others at an apartment and hatched a plan to lure the people out of the apartment. When shots were fired to scare them, White was struck by a bullet.
