TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a woman’s death at a central Topeka home as a homicide.
Police say officers responded around 2:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting. Lt. Jennifer Cross says 37-year-old Patricia Sanders was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say a man who was in the home at the time of the shooting had been detained. They planned to question him to determine if he was involved in the victim’s death.
